This gorgeous home is nestled among large trees and was begging for understory plants to compliment the canopy and highlight the beauty of our native environment.

Installed in 2025. We chose smaller plants to stay within budget while achieving the best results. We also mulched with arborist chips, which help nourish the soil and keep plants healthy.

Before Photos

This property was somehow both crowded and barren. The entry to the home was darkened by large, unruly rhododendrons, Salal and Creeping Mahonia (both wonderful native plants) had to run of the borders, and the owners had a need for additional parking spaces that their current driveway could not accomodate. They also had a desire for the planting to look “like there was some thought put into it”.
