About Jolis Jardins, Fine Gardening & Design

Gardens Designed to Be Lived In

A thoughtfully designed garden has the power to transform how you experience your home. It draws you outdoors—whether it’s enjoying a quiet morning coffee on the patio, gathering with friends and family, or simply taking in the beauty of the changing seasons.

A Jolis Jardins, garden design is guided by the principles of fine gardening—a thoughtful approach that combines horticultural knowledge with an artistic eye. Each garden is designed with care, balancing structure, texture, color, and seasonal interest to create outdoor spaces that feel both beautiful and natural.

The goal is not simply to fill a yard with plants, but to create a garden that grows more beautiful over time.

A Love of Gardens and the Life Around Them

I am a garden designer and fine gardener whose work is grounded in environmental horticulture and inspired by a deep love of gardens as places of beauty, reflection, and everyday life.

I path to serious gardening and garden design began during the pandemic, when time spent working in the garden became something more than a hobby. Gardening offered a sense of calm and connection during an uncertain time, and what began as curiosity about plants grew into a deeper fascination with how gardens are created and how they shape the way we live in our outdoor spaces.

That experience led me to pursue an associate’s degree in environmental horticulture, where I developed the horticultural knowledge needed to design gardens that are both beautiful and resilient.

Today, that journey continues to influence my design philosophy. I approach each project through the lens of fine gardening—combining plant knowledge with thoughtful composition to create gardens that feel lush, layered, and alive with seasonal color. My goal is to design outdoor spaces that not only look beautiful, but also invite people outside to slow down, relax, and enjoy the garden as it grows and evolves over time.

A beautiful garden begins with a thoughtful vision. Whether your’re dreaming of a lush plant-filled retreat, a welcoming entry garden, or an outdoor space designed for gathering and relaxing, the goal is always the same—to create a garden that feels like a natural extension of your home and your life. If you’re ready to reimagine your outdoor space, I invite you to begin with a garden consultation and explore the possibilities for your garden.
